I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
